This week, the 100th reconstruction meeting for our S furnace provided an opportunity to take an exceptional photo at the very heart of the furnace, the future flagship of our Arc France site, with some of the employees and contractors who contributed to the success of the project.
A monumental project involving 3,000 tonnes of refractory bricks!
🔥 In a few days’ time, there will be nearly 300 tonnes of glass at 1,400 degrees here, and above all, no human being will be able to repeat this pose for another ten years or so!
👏 Congratulations to all the Arc glassmakers, partners and contractors from all trades who took part in this magnificent reconstruction!
